After weeks of trying to organize a week off work, it finally happened and I went away to Guangzhou for the week. I didn't go visiting temples and tourist attractions, but spent most of my time shopping *grin*. They have heaps of wedding stuffs and everything is sssoooooooo much more affordable! Could have gotten my gown there for a much better price!
Things have changed quite a bit since I last updated the blog..... I did say that I was heading home for good, but that has changed now. I am still moving, but moving to Sydney instead for at least 4 years for work. I'm still very apprehensive about the move (the relocation, the new faces, new healthcare system, and of course, not having my wonderful friends from Melbourne with me) - the fear of the unknown as a close friend has said.
Anyway, another 3 weeks of work before I start looking for a place in Sydney and heading home for a couple of weeks to organize a few things. Next year is going to be a very big year for me..... our wedding, the move and starting my specialty training.
*sorry for the diversion from my usual traveling babble - just thought I should share my important events!*
